The journey has not been easy for the young Cleveland, Ohio-based lyricist, Josh White. In his new track ‘Numb’, he decides to share some of the obstacles of dealing with trying to have a voice in Hip-Hop that stays true to himself, all while bragging about his superior skills. He plays around with his vocals on ‘Numb’ giving an artsy creative feel to the song. His lyricism, flow and the emotion evoked in the song allow listeners to feel the frustration of clearly being better than most and still not being recognised as he deserves.

‘Numb’ is a good track—somewhat reminiscent to the sounds of J.I.D. Josh White describes himself as “just a weird little homeless kid with a dollar and a dream.” I guess we could add “filled with a ton of talent.” He’s in a good place, musically. From this track alone, listeners should be excited for what more is to come. Check out ‘Numb’ below.
