Opening the new video for his song ‘Goin Up’, John Gabbana talks to his father about coming back to the music industry after turning around his life of danger. If you aren’t familiar with John Gabbanna, he used to go as “Boonk”, who used to be an internet troll long before the careers of other “troll rappers” took off. It was difficult to tell if the stunts he did were real or not, but it turns out that they were. He was also committing crimes, and getting hurt for the ‘gram, as they say. I think the last straw was when retaliation led to a broken jaw, or when he shot himself. Soon after, reportedly, that the rapper fell into a deep dark suicidal depression because he lost his Instagram account, which brought in $20,000 a month according to the claim.
It’s good to see John Gabbana doing better with his life. Last month, with some friends, he fed the homeless.
