Instagram releases ‘Reels’, its TikTok competitor

With all the news surrounding the banning of TikTok in the United States, Instagram decides to drop ‘Reel’, its TikTok competitor. This is exciting news, as it comes bundled with the Instagram app, meaning there is no need to build a following from scratch. With Reels, you will be able to create short videos and/or record and edit fifteen-second multi-clip videos that can be shared directly with friends or publicly. Anyone can create a video to share with friends, and for public profiles, these will be discoverable in the Explore section within the app.
