HUMANS is a Canadian Electronic duo comprised of musicians Peter Ricq and Robbie Slade. Their last two EP’s ‘Avec Mes Mecs’ and ‘Traps’ showcased their unique sound which combines elements of Dance music, Indie Rock, and Indie-Pop; a sound that has earned them numerous music publication features.
Sticking to their roots, their new single ‘Beggin’ is a unique display of Electro-dance music. The melodic lighthearted vocals and catchy hook coupled with the fast pulsing synthesizer and drum machine creates a sound that you can’t help but dance to. The duo is known for their visual presentations and focusing on performance and production styles of both the past and present. Their video is a mashup of shots taken from many of their past along with shots taken from the present day. Images of puppets, animated characters, live performances and their merchandise can be seen throughout the video as well.
