“Sneakier than Rick Ross with Molly.”

oday, Queens-based rappers Mahdi and Dookie team up for a new track called, “Heebie Jeebies” and released the video through GRUNGECAKE. On a DJ Lucas-beat, the duo shares comedic stories within the lines of this song and lists various reasons for their sneakiness and mischief. Several lines made me laugh, but the one that ‘sent me there’ is the Rick Ross line. “Heebie Jeebies” doesn’t mimic infamous lyrical patterns. It is not overkilled. Nor does it try to be like anything that’s popular. I think that’s why I like it. Watch the hilarious VHS-inspired music video now, exclusively, below. The timestamp and date say the footage is from 2003. That would mean it is fourteen years old, but you can never know what’s what on the Night of the Dead.
