Hear Big Grams’ “Feel In The Sun”

Big Grams

Big Boi and Phantogram have a chemistry that is unmatched with their self-titled EP, “Big Grams.” Out September 25, this project combines both Hip-Hop / Indie Rock as a genre reminiscent of 70’s Funk. Think of James Brown, Donna Summer, The Bee Gees, and Funkadelic all on one record – and you have Big Grams. Fell in the Sun generates that timeless record as a masterpiece. The celebration of sonic emotion was also featured on Big Boi’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors in 2012. Tracks like “Objectum Sexuality,” “CPU,” and “Lines” featuring A$AP Rocky highlight that unification moment.

Fun Fact: Phantogram duo Sarah Barthel (Aquarius) and Josh Carter (Gemini) = Aquemini. The universe knew what to do when both met with 1/2 of Outkast icon, Big Boi. A vitamin D overdose is a perfect metaphor to describe the magic igniting.

The art direction is provided by Kiiarens, who recreates the 7 deadly sins for each track as the main visuals.
