Multi-media mogul Russell Simmons is the latest Hollywood figure to face allegations of sexual abuse and assault coupled with a documentary featuring accounts of the alleged abuse. The documentary, titled ‘On the Record’, was searching for a home and found one in HBO. This comes after the notable withdrawal of Oprah Winfrey from the documentary, as a result of pressure and backlash from many members of the community and Russell Simmons himself. The documentary follows the accounts of three of Russell Simmons’ accusers. An air date has not yet been set for the documentary.
