Gateway Drugs’ Shares Uptempo Single, “Head”

Have you ever heard your “cool”, “urban” friends refer to something you’ve done or liked as “wavy”? Well, that’s how I feel about “Head”, the newly released track by the Los Angeles local band Gateway Drugs. With as vivid as my imagination is, I’ve already listened to “Head” on the PCH in the Summer, moments after Beck’s “Loser” completed on my “Jam Out” playlist. Actually, this track is so LA, I’d make myself fake-happy if I listened to it anymore, anywhere else. It’s a follow-up to their lead-single “Friday’s Are For Suckers”, and starting next month, the guys will embark on a national tour with Swervedriver, a veteran Shoegaze act.
