Yesterday by way of the label, I had the opportunity to hear ‘Up It’ ahead of its release. As someone who has covered G Herbo in some capacity over the years, it’s always good to hear new music (or good news in general) from him. Within the lyrics of the fast-paced track, the twenty-three-year-old Chicago rapper details his lifestyle, the “fat butt” woman in his life, buying his girlfriend a Chanel bag, and what it takes to increase the quality of life by “upping it”. Check out the latest release from The Machine Entertainment Group camp’s head honcho—G-Herbo—below.

Some days before the @grungecake and @dailymotion #SunsetSeries event featuring @saintcassius_ and @ladotee, I received an email from the label. It was an invitation to @nolimitherbo and @808mafiaboss’ album release party for #SWERVO. I knew I wasn't able to swing it, so I sent @esparo and @jutehgc in my place. That night, @esparo called to see if there was availability at @leilasnyc. It was. About thirty minutes later, I walked them in. What does it all mean? Let's say that it was supposed to happen the way it did. South Side, wearing a Saint Cassius shirt, is the best and only remnant that I needed from that night. PS: @tra_ash and @two.2._, you are my angels on earth! Thank God for your presence! @epicrecords @the_orchard_ @machineent_group @officialbelaire
