Former Brooklyn band Frills share new quarantine track ‘I’m Under’: Listen

If you ever walked the streets of Williamsburg in Brooklyn off of the L train stop down Bedford Avenue, that’s what ‘I’m Going Under’ makes me feel; the gentrification of a formerly distressed environment. Hey, and that’s no dig to the band. At one point in the 10s, the neighbourhood became synonymous with indie music showcases and home to musicians that sound like Frills. Without knowing where they started, unfortunately, the band are no longer in Brooklyn. They now live in Australia and Los Angeles. However, with the help of the internet, they were able to make this song, but that flight is long. I’ve done it. I’m interested to see if they will do live shows in a post-COVID-19 world.
