Worth the Watch: Fifi Rong dominates in “Runaway Ritual”


In a beautifully-directed cinematic visual narrative, singer-songwriter Fifi Rong teams up with producer slash multi-instrumentalist Ink Project to tell a story about a zany, controlling relationship. After unwrapping a human gift, Rong shaves and dresses her man-toy. There’s a scene where she’s in a standalone tub, and he just sits there as she bathes with nothing but pearls on. Shortly after, he wises up and cuts the pearls that tie him to the couch he’s been sitting in. She enters the room…
