Recap: ENVSN, a festival to inspire and connect next generation to the industry

Over the weekend, ENVSN launched its first annual festival at Industry City.

During the day, attendees (who fall under the demographics of the next generation, particularly, high schoolers) experienced education, entertainment, and empowerment. Sharifa Murdock says she was inspired to create the festival to be the platform she craved as a young woman growing up in Brooklyn.

“I was a girl who loved fashion and had an intense curiosity for the industry but didn’t necessarily know where to turn to make her start into the business.”
