Bringing the song to life, British rapper Enny and singer-songwriter Amia Brave show off the range of Black beauty in her circle, dispelling the unfortunate norms of colourism around the world. The beat is banging. The words are well-put-together and funny with the line about wanting a butt like her aunt and not like Kim Kardashian’s. And last but not least, the singer’s voice on the hook is a worthy addition to accentuate the verses. Like the chorus says, we are going to be alright. Okay? Check out the ‘Peng Black Girls’ visual directed by Otis Dominique below, as the South East London artist speaks her truth and speaks up for naturally beautiful women of all hues.
