Elliphant unveils new single ‘Music Is Life’ featuring Ras Fraser Jr

Ellinor Olovsdotter AKA Elliphant first gained international acclaim back in April 2012 when she released her debut single ‘Tekkno Scene’ on Swedish independent label TEN. Sounding not unlike the twisted illegitimate offspring of MIA and Diplo, her unapologetic and in-your-face Jamaican influenced Dancehall Pop (otherwise known as ‘Dankshall’) soon prompted the world to sit up, pay attention and see what else this Swedish solo artist had up her sleeve.

Fast forward a little over one year, and the rambunctious performer, lyricist and vocalist now has a handful of critically acclaimed songs under her belt, including the anthemic ‘Down On Life’ and infectious ‘Make It Juicy’. Elliphant is currently on tour in North America with Twin Shadow and will be unveiling her brand new video ‘Music Is Life’ next month.
