This 5@5 morning playlist consists of Philip Bixby, Elley Duhé, DANSU, and more.

Philip Bixby – Introvert
Doesn’t it feel good when there’s security in another person? The only person that person wants to be with is you. According to the lyrics on “Introvert”, the Floridian singer Philip Bixby does not mind his lover’s past. On a personal note, I want to believe that is the responsible thing to do—to secure within one’s self.
Daren Todd – Celebrations
Milwaukie, Oregon-based recording artist Daren Todd has an unusual voice. However, the premise of celebrating and wanting more out of life is relatable to all humans. Personally, I would have liked to hear a better mix of “Celebrations,” but it is what it is.
Nightmare Air – Who’s Your Lover
Have you ever listened to music and a question in the lyric stumped you? At this very tender moment, I don’t have one. For the first time in my social life, I am riding solo. What does it feel like you ask? Personally, I feel like I’m able to focus on what’s important to me without spousal interruption. It isn’t to say that I do not enjoy being in a relationship. Nonetheless, it is the kind of intimate union that you should water daily. I’m all out of water and interest. Perhaps, my mind will change when I’ve achieved one of my personal goals for the year.
Elley Duhé – Can You Touch
Elley Duhé’s voice is astounding to me. I feel like I hear an accent when she sings, but when I look at where she is from it reads Dauphin Island, Alabama. For those who are not geographically-inclined, it is a town in Mobile County. It’s a small town with a population less than 1,500 people. To date, the young creative has written music for Usher, Illangelo, and more. Personally, I’m looking forward to her debut EP on RCA Records. She has a voice that may remain kid-like for the rest of her life, and that’s exciting!
Micky James – Give It to Me Straight
I like when titles resonate with your lifestyle and character. I’d advise anyone whoever mixes and mingles with me, to give it to me straight. Otherwise, you are wasting my time. Otherwise, the New York City-based singer has hair for Hollywood and the voice of a rising Alternative Rockstar. Give him some of your time!
DANSU – RUN (Bonus)
Are you looking for a pick me up? Dutch Tokyo-based Electro-Pop singer DANSU went to Israel with a neon green bucket and a video camera to make a quirky video for “RUN.” Sometimes, the memorable moments come from little to no inspiration or from nothingness. Check out the funny treatment for the track now. The lyrics might help you come to grips with whatever you’re running from in your life.
