Last month, Canadian singer-songwriter DYLYN released ‘Secret’, a song about infidelity in her family. Her father has a secret, he’s cheating on his wife, and their daughter wants to know how she will love her after all of that. Unfortunately for many, it is something that negatively affects the children who have to live with their parents at odds. Children are left, feeling like they have to pick sides and be the comforter to the parent betrayed.

Taken from personal experiences, DYLYN pours her heart and soul into the lines of her song. Watch the official music video for the emotional track below. If you can relate to her, find her online and tell her. Initially, she was hesitant to share this song, so sharing your experience may make her feel it was a great decision. Moreover, if you like what you hear and see, here’s previous coverage.
