From the moment you encounter DioMara, without knowing her name or where she’s from, you believe she does something interesting. Her hair is a work of art, her skin tone is of mahogany, and her garb meticulously placed. This week, the Panamanian-American R&B-Soul singer-songwriter dropped by the YouTube Space to interview with us for a yet-to-be-launched segment on our new podcast called ‘New | Now’, where she speaks about what inspired her album, her favourite verse/song and performs it acapella. The world will get to experience ‘New | Now’ soon, but until then, here is ‘Alchemy’, the sultry storytelling of a young native New Yorker from Flatbush Avenue.
