Watch Philadelphia rapper Dayne Jordan’s split video for ‘BIDI’ and ‘LAUNDRY’

Opening for Lupe Fiasco (‘Steppin Lasers Tour’), Dom Kennedy, and The Roots before the mayhem of COVID-19 turned the world upside down, Dayne Jordan was on his way to being seen and appreciated by more audiences. Now, like many other artists, the Philadelphia-based spitter (formerly known as Dosage) is creating music and releasing it as he is in quarantine. ‘BIDI’ is closer to what I would listen to—on my own—because of the song structure, production choice, and his vocal delivery, but the overall messaging on ‘LAUNDRY’ is good too.
