D’Angelo and the Vanguard are nominated for three GRAMMYs

D’Angelo fans worldwide are pleased with the news concerning his three GRAMMY nominations this year for ‘Record of the Year’, ‘Best R&B Song’ and ‘Best R&B Album’. The sweet-voiced 90’s heartthrob and his new band—The Vanguard—also announced new tour dates including Europe and Asia. D’Angelo’s first major success came twenty-one years ago when he wrote and produced ‘U Will Know’ for the ‘Jason Lyric’ soundtrack. A year later, the Richmond, Virginia-native singer released his debut album titled, ‘Brown Sugar’ which went on to sell over two million copies.
