Damon Dash’s attempt to sell JAY Z’s debut album as an NFT blocked

Damon Dash’s attempt to auction off Jay Z ‘Reasonable Doubt’ album as an NFT has been dealt a serious blow following a court ruling today.

According to TMZ, a source close to the case said the court ruled in favor of Roc A Fella on Tuesday (June 22) by prohibiting Damon from selling the NFT of JAY Z’s debut studio album.

Although the ruling is only temporary, TMZ reports that the federal judge said JAY and Roc A Fella’s arguments were “deemed credible and correct.” Despite the ruling, more filings are almost certain to come in the future from Dash’s side.
We earlier reported that Roc A Fella sued Damon Dash for attempting to sell off JAY Z’s ‘Reasonable Doubt’ album as an NFT.
