Curren$y discusses race wars and police brutality on “Good Cop, Bad Cop”

This year, Curren$y is busy. He has released several projects. Uploaded many videos to complement the songs and gave some local artists the chance to shine. Most known for lyrical content about marijuana, the New Orleans rapper gets deeper. With recent tragedies in African-American communities involving law enforcement, everyone is venting and expressing their opinions. The artist decided to do the same. Rapping over Erykah Badu’s “Other Side Of The Game,” Curren$y illustrates his experiences with the police and his empathy for society’s pain and grief. Stream “Good Cop Bad Cop” below.
