Week 5 of College Football: Battle of the Unbeaten

Shockingly early in the 2021 college football season, we had losses to some preseason playoff contenders like Ohio State, Clemson, and Auburn in a season. Yet, twenty-six FBS teams remain unbeaten, but that number will decrease after Saturday as ten teams face each other. Week 5 poses some big matchups for top 25-rank teams, No. 12 Ole Miss at No. 1 Alabama, No. 8 Arkansas at No. 2 Georgia, No. 7 Cincinnati at No. 9 Notre Dame, No. 5 Iowa at Maryland, No. 21 Baylor at No. 19 Oklahoma State.

Boston College, Kentucky, Michigan and Wake Forest will be facing their toughest task yet this week. Boston College hasn’t beaten the Clemson Tigers since 2010; Kentucky will face No. 10 rank Florida, whose only loss was a down to the wire game against No. 1 Alabama; Michigan has lost to the Wisconsin Badgers the previous two years with the all-time series record being 51-16-1 favouring the Badgers; Wake Forest will face rival team Louisville Cardinals who got the best of them the previous two years.

Week 5 will be the weekend that separates the cream from the crop! Find the AP top 25 schedule below.
