Rapper CJ Fly of the Brooklyn-based Hip-Hop collective Pro Era has made his entrance into the Dancehall genre with single, ‘Bamboo Tree’. The song is a deviation from his usual hard-hitting Rap lyrics and flow, but he does it well, as if it’s his main genre. The track is produced by none other than the famed London-producer Parris, and has a smooth, summery Dancehall groove that clearly displays his talent and versatility. The song describes a beautiful woman ‘Slim like a bamboo tree’ with her backside ‘big like an SUV’. Summer may technically be over, but this song is sure to jumpstart a few functions.
