Last week, Compton rapper Chris O’Bannon released his new fourteen-track playlist titled ‘Sauce Meets World 2.5’. It is a compilation of his 2019 project ‘Sauce Meets World 2’, and six newer compositions. The project gives you a mixture of late night vibes, combined with West Coast party sounds. Chris shows off his versatility with Afrobeats-styled tracks ‘Touch’n You’ and ‘Making Me Sweat’. His song ‘SADD’ , which is the ninth track on the project, was recently featured on Issa Rae’s HBO television series ‘Insecure’.
You can tell that Chris O’Bannon has picked up much of his musical inspiration while moving in-between Los Angeles and The San Francisco Bay Area. His music carries gentle vocals accompanied by a soothingly-perfected autotune. The artists unmatchable vocals have earned him collaborations on songs with other West Coast rappers such as Buddy, 03 Greedo, Kalan Fr.Fr., G Perico, and Iamsu!. Not to mention, this project includes a feature from frequent Mozzy collaborator, JuneOnnaBeat. Chris O’Bannon is a very talented emcee, and is on the verge of becoming a star on the West Coast.
