CHIKA, the GRAMMY-nominated recording artist from Alabama, just released a new song called ‘FWB’, an abbreviation of ‘Friends With Benefits’. On it, she sings beautifully and doesn’t leave us without her high-quality bars. Keeping it a buck and letting the person know that her desire isn’t to be with them for a long time, Chika sings “that she just needs a lover and a friend to pass the time”. Friends with benefits isn’t an awful situation to be in, but sadly there aren’t many people who are emotionally mature or emotionally intelligent enough to handle it.

Without further ado, listen to the track below. And if you haven’t yet, stream Chika’s debut EP ‘Industry Games’ to hear why she scored the nomination for ‘Best New Artist’.
