Chi City’s Tell-All Tune “Early Morning Dreams”

Faced with having to sell drugs or sell music at a very young age, new artist Chi City tells a deep story of what his upbringing was like in his city. Wearing the name of his city, his huge responsibility and skill is evident in “Early Morning Dreams” and others from his latest “My Untold Story”.

Chi City

This Chicago-based artist has over nine self-released mix tapes and he has collaborated with fellow rap artists Cory Gunz (Cash Money Records) and MTV Jams’ most played Baltimore artist Mullyman. In addition, he has toured with Philadelphia Freeway, Mickey Factz, Mikey Halsted and Daytona. He has ghostwritten for B.o.B., Diggy Simmons and G.O.O.D. Music affiliates.

When asked where the idea for “Early Morning Dreams” derived, the artist shared that he wanted “to tell [a story] about how judgemental and backwards most people are, and how the thought of having everything can make some people really lose everything in the same process.”
