Jamaican musical legend Buju Banton released a new track called ‘Summer Body’ today, right in time for all of our pandemic-safe celebrations. Remaining himself by utilising signature sounds from 90s Reggae, his classic style is intact. The warm weather tune is for women who want to have a Hot Girl Summer since we couldn’t win in 2020. With that in mind, many of us are trying to pick up where we left off before March 2020, and I don’t blame them. If you can’t make it to an island, crank this up on your speaker in your backyard and get the grill going. Listen to ‘Summer Body’ below, produced by Buju Banton and Jon Jon. It’s out now on Gargamel Music, GRAMMY Award-winning artist’s independent label imprint.
