BOSCO is a force of nature. This Atlanta-bred singer-songwriter pulls from the rawest, headiest elements of R&B, dance and beyond, wrapping it all up with a relentlessly physical live show and and iconic personal style. It’s an electrifying approach that has made her a muse for music and fashion tastemakers alike. Now, following a streak of underground favourites (including “Slippin” from the Solange-curated Saint Heron compilation and the house-y Treasure Fingers collaboration “Names,”) BOSCO makes her proper Fool’s Gold debut with the brand-new BOY EP, out June 2.
Recorded in New York and fueled by the city’s sense of motion and unrest, BOY features some of BOSCO’s most emotional songwriting yet. The title track “BOY” is an icy mysterious groove (produced by NEVR & REO,) buoyed by BOSCO and Jace (of fellow ATL upstarts Two-9,) setting a tone for the EP’s many moods.
