British production duo Blue Lab Beats shares Soul Train-inspired visual for ‘Hi There’: Watch

When my dad would come over to get me from home, we’d ride out to the sounds of Jazz, playing from one of the most popular stations in the Tri-State area. So, whenever the moments occur to hear anything of the sort, it reminds me of my early stages of learning about multiple styles of music. Next, it takes me to Southern California. In my mind, I see young and older men of colour doing their traditional dances, hopping around and stacking to the beat. It’s wondrous where the music can take you.
