Nodding to the golden age of Cash Money Records, Birdman & Juvenile team up to release their collaborative album ‘J.A.G.’ at all digital retailers.

Short for ‘Just Another Gangster,’ both the album title and lead single ‘J.A.G.’ take you back to the bouncy bling era of the label by reuniting legendary Co-Founder and multi-platinum rapper Birdman with Southern luminary and fellow icon Juvenile. The larger-than-life music video already surpassed 4.3 million YouTube/VEVO views, and the song impacted radio in February where it continues rising.

On the track, these two New Orleans titans lock into a lyrical back-and-forth before delivering a chanting refrain over a slick bassline and steady beat. With a whole lot of swag and style. It’s as infectious and icy as anything they’ve ever done together, and it evokes the timeless nature of their chemistry initially honed by way of collaborations from dozens of classic releases.

‘J.A.G.’ is stacked with bold and big bangers. ‘Dreams’ featuring Choppa showcases slicker Southern flows over acoustic guitar and piano. Choppa brings his own fire to the track as Juvenile turns up with another hummable hook. ‘Broke’ unfolds with street wit and charm, while a bluesy guitar lead gives way to rhyme fireworks on the nostalgic ‘Back Then’. ‘From The Bottom’ could serve as a mission statement for either Juvenile or Birdman as it documents the come-up to triumph in vivid detail. The album concludes on the hard-hitting and bounce-driven ‘One Two’.

The entire project sees Birdman and Juvenile rapping with focus and fire that’s always fresh. Additionally, it features production courtesy of Rich Gang in-house team DRoc, Super Earz, and Rip.

Birdman and Juvenile recently engaged a full court press blitz that saw them appearing on multiple television and radio shows. They notably guested on The Wendy Williams Show to perform the title track and speak on the project. Additionally, Juvenile guested on The Breakfast Club, and his appearance racked up a staggering 100K views in under six hours as it approached the 400K mark now.

Be on the lookout for more big news and moves from Birdman, Juvenile, and Cash Money Records in 2019.
