In an upper echelon setting, Buffalo’s own Benny the Butcher abuses the beat to list the times he felt famous, which had nothing to do with the usual routes of mainstream fame. On the flip side, he is in a new space, but according to the lyrics, he doesn’t feel famous. Perhaps, based on what we saw as kids growing up, Benny doesn’t feel welcomed into his new celebrity status. As the song progresses, he delves more into what life has been like, and talks about how people have treated him. Watch the visual for the song from the album ‘Burden of Proof’ below.
