At some point in our lives, all of us have been curious to a fault. We have broken up with people, and naturally, we didn’t know what to do with ourselves. After a breakup, we are distraught. We have unanswered questions. We want to know what the other person is thinking; how they’re doing and if they’re with somebody new. Some of us lose control; start to obsess and stalk our former lovers. Others don’t know what to do with themselves.

The calming voice and “happy” beat that comes through the Bay Ledges frontman Zach Hurd’s body helps to ease the sting of loss. If only it were that easy. What a vibe! Listen to the funky new track by Los Angeles-native band Bay Ledges—consisting of Zach Hurd and his sister Georgia—right now. They’re the kind of artist we would enjoy seeing onstage at any given festival. They’re in town (New York City) on February 25 to play at Rockwood Music Hall in the Lower East Side. If we are here, we will be there.
