Azealia Banks returns with “Movin’ On Up” featuring An Expresso

As someone who has been listening to Azealia Banks for almost ten years, it is good to hear her voice on a record again.

“Movin’ On Up” is the latest original release by Azealia Banks—produced by NEWBODY.

Controversy, no matter the era, will “sell”, but nothing is better than having a record out that people can stream all day long in anticipation of your next major release. Known for blending several musical styles on one song, I think the twenty-six-year-old Harlemite is getting back to her craft. As I believed during the Myspace days, Azealia Banks is one of the most exciting rappers of our time. Unfortunately, gossip took over, but we’re in America. I think we’re capable of forgiving most people—over time.

Hopefully, she’s one of the many phoenixes who can rise from the ashes. Listen to the bouncy House/Rap track below. Judge it. Then, share your thoughts with someone else.

“Movin’ On Up” is the first single from the forthcoming album: Fantasea II: The Second Wave.
