Six hours ago, Nigerian artists Azanti and PsychoYP unleashed the official music video to their new single ‘Naija Funk’, a new, experimental sound for the Apex Village/Def Jam Recordings frequent collaborators. The musical pair from Abuja, Nigeria, started promoting the jam with nearly 500,000 streams on Spotify three weeks ago with a visualiser and the audio on digital streaming platforms. Taking his alleged regret poolside, the Toronto-based rising artist sings, “I shoulda done you better,” something many babes would love to hear whilst (or after) dealing with a jackass. For Psycho YP’s verse, the ‘Long Way from Home’ artist raps about putting that shit on, linking with baddies abroad and protecting his music “I do not need this shit leaking (no lie).” Watch the new video below for the Ayk Beats production. You may get encouraged to play Monopoly, eat chicken, and spray your peers with water guns in this heat.
