If you haven’t heard, Nuance, the company that invented T9 predictive text software many moons ago teases new technology for your smart phones called “future context” that will examine your entire sentence, or phrase, and determine if there’re errors. Then of course, this new technology will suggest a correction. Currently, the Nuance team are working hard to perfect a new algorithm. This may be a relief for people my age and older, but what does this do for children in school? Will it help or hurt? We’ll find out soon.
