A$AP Ferg’s “Always Strive and Prosper,” Reviewed

Ferg is on a new level.

A$AP Ferg's

Although he named his newest album “Always Strive And Prosper” in honor of his team, A$AP Ferg is making it clear he is his own man. Following the footsteps of “Trap Lord,” his debut album, this project carries a diverse sound. The A$AP collective has been on the rise for a while now, with Rocky as the front-runner, but I believe that’s about to change.

Using these 18 distinctive tracks, Ferg took us on an enjoyable trip inside of his mind (life). “Beautiful People,” “Swipe Life,” and “Strive” are three excellent examples of his versatility and storytelling ability. Being one of the only ones who can jump on any beat and flow on it naturally, is what makes him stand out from the crowd. Potential is one thing that A$AP Ferg is full of, and I’m sure he knows this. As long as he continues to build on what he started, I’m sure he’ll be around for a long time.
