A&R Feedback: K Goddess – Friends

I haven’t heard a particular Love & Hip Hop New York’s producer tag in a brick!

Brownsville rapper K Goddess linked with Swift on Demand to put out a New York gritty femme anthem. I enjoy the track, but what could have given it that real oomph is if the engineer added some effects to the record. She sounds clear, which is excellent, but the engineer just left you with bars and beat. After her first bar, the engineer should’ve hyped her with a zipper effect and some reverb. The engineer should’ve given her more, and by more, I mean echo, punch-ins, and punchlines that hit dramatically when the beat drops AKA better arrangement.
