City of Hoquiam to declare April 10, “Nirvana Day”

Alas, a day for the grunge gods.

Nirvana Day

According to the Seattle Times, the city of Hoquiam will honor Nirvana’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by naming April 10th “Nirvana Day.” In addition, KXRO reported that Mayor Jack Durney says the band, whose roots are from Aberdeen, have left a positive impact on all of Grays Harbor. So amazing.
