Anna Wise champions women around the world.

Anna Wise (from Sonnymooon) has officially announced details for her debut EP titled, “The Feminine: Act 1.” The Boston-native singer is best known to mainstream gatekeepers by way of her vocal work on Kendrick Lamar’s records such as “Money Trees,” “These Walls,” and “Real.” Coming out in partnership with Stem — a company devoted to making it easier for artists to get their fair share of money and information surrounding that in “a clear and timely manner” — the crooner’s 7-track EP seems to be a biographic document of what it is to be a woman.
Last month, the Grammy Award-winning artist released the official video for “BitchSlut,” which vividly explains some of the grief women have to experience in a society where we’re called “bitches” and “sluts” for just existing. As she sings from the comfort of her bed as a new bride, her new video for “Precious Possession” begins. Watch it below.
According to a message from Suzi Analogue, she has production credit for “Decrease My Waist, Increase My Wage” (#5 on the EP). Congratulations!
