Ghanaian-American artist Amaarae swoons on ‘JUMPING SHIP’ featuring Kojey Radical and Cruel Santino: Watch the visual

She’s giving me F3 Janet Jackson vocals.

Who doesn’t love unique vocal cords over memorable fun danceable production? Amaarae nails it on the self-described “Baille Funk-sampling R&B” jam. It’s a smooth blend that talks about leaving the one you’re with for someone, who seems to be better. Stepping away from her usual short hair cut, she dons gold teeth and long twisted or coiled hair.

Recently, the Ghanaian-American multi-hyphenate recording artist put out ‘JUMPING SHIP’ featuring British rapper Kojey Radical and Nigerian artist Cruel Santino as a homage to the late 90s/early 00s UK Garage scene. Check out the visual below, directed by Remi Laudat.
