American singer-songwriters Alex Siegel and Westerns teamed up for the beautiful and harmonious ‘Everything Turns’. With a sound texture reminiscent of Toro y Moi, Tame Impala and Yoshimi-era Flaming Lips, they describe the record as a “lush instrumental palette of subtle keys and acoustic guitars [sitting] under a dreamy and gorgeous vocal.” It is the most relaxing song I’ve heard all day; I’ve listened to quite a bit of music. Listen to the first track made by both artists below. Here’s a fun fact: They have yet to meet in person, but they completed the record in three weeks. That’s the result of people who want to work together.
