In April, British artist Alana Maria shared her spanking new video for ‘Chargie’ featuring United Kingdom’s burgeoning Afropop singer Midas the Jagaban. Have you ever been in love and didn’t want the deep, mysterious feeling to end? That’s what the Meeks & Frost direction shows.

Maria shared that she was “working on a chorus for another artist that didn’t go into production about the song’s creation.” She was inspired by a track on Nines’ album called ‘Ringaling’, and the “emotional production” [of the record] caught her attention.
