Aisha Badru, the New York-native is providing us with new tracks on her debut album, ‘Pendulum’. Following the album’s release, the Yonkers-based singer-songwriter showcases her talent at Rockwood Music Hall on May 3. Badru’s sweet and melodically airy tunes are already in critical acclaim by platforms such as NPR and AFROPUNK. A voice so gentle and soothing, Badru’s combination of Pop and Folk melodies are indubitably inviting.
Since her last EP ‘Vacancy’ that was put out in 2015, the songstress has been working on her and perfecting her craft. Dealing with dropping out of college and finding the assurance to be an artist freely, Badru is ready to share more of her art with the world.
