With a new album underway, Carson, California-born musical legend Ab-Soul announces ‘Herbert’, an album promising to leave behind his conspiracy theories and delve more into his personal life as an artist and a man. If you were a day one fan of everything released through TDE, you’d know the little bit Ab-Soul—real Herbert Anthony Stevens IV—poetically shared about his losses, relationships, and personal struggles. It’s unfair that Ab-Soul has been through what most people couldn’t come back from, but he has changed and feels he has a new sense of purpose, which is incredible. His autobiographical work entitled ‘Herbert’ will be available on December 16 via Top Dawg Entertainment. In the meantime, check out his latest music video for ‘Gang’Nem’ featuring fellow rapper Fre$H, produced by Sounwave.
