A Review On Trinidad James’ “The Wake Up”

Have you ever had someone crushing on you, that you weren’t into at all? But then you see them years later and they look better than ever? Look so good you want to give them all the plays from your book of game? Well… Trinidad James will be receiving a lot of plays from my Soundcloud for these next few days. In all actuality, it wasn’t his words that made this EP, it was the features and the production. From the moment the first track dropped I was in awe. He has grown so much as an artist and I love it. But I’m not going to lie, I didn’t like one song (“Have A Good Day”) because it was him on his own, and listening to songs with him by himself makes me feel like I’m in a room with a bunch of convicted murderers — hashtag uncomfortable. Besides that, it’s definitely worth the listen. Congrats, and don’t look back.
