In the video below, Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) is voluntarily force fed to spread the message (to Americans) about the prisoners in Guantánamo Bay — even during the observance of Ramadan. According to the Guardian, there are currently 120 detainees on hunger strike in Guantánamo Bay. We believe this is the perfect demonstration of spreading a message with the use of popularity / celebrity. In fact, it is social responsibility at its finest.
