Watch: Keith Ape’s “It G Ma” (Remix) featuring A$AP Ferg, Waka Flocka Flame, Father & Dumbfoundead

Keith Ape

Visuals for Keith Ape’s “It G Ma” remix featuring A$AP Ferg, Waka Flocka Flame, Father and Dumbfoundead, is trippy and keep you entertained. Dark slightly scary, the first scene shows Ape holding up both hands with his middle fingers pointing to the sky. Animations load on to the screen and you see random quick images of gorilla heads and machine guns flash. Fading over to Waka Flocka Flame, who is seen spitting rhymes with pictures of killer whales and other deadly echinoderm in the background. I am reminded of that time when I popped half of a Molly by accident. Sitting between the legs of an Asian goddess, Ape gives Trap Star Tea, as his eyes begin to glow an odd pink color.

Ultimately visuals for this remix looked like a lot of fun to be a part of, and is following the viral success of its original, which has garnered upwards of 9 million views since its release on New Year’s Day 2015, Korea’s. Annihilating cultural boundaries that has existed between American and Asian rap, “It G Ma” links both continent’s cultures, and with its remix, affirming the song as a global moment with its features from Atlanta’s Waka Flocka Flame, Father, New York City’s A$AP Ferg and Los Angeles’ Dumbfoundead.
