Girls like Intuition, but so do Hip Hop purists, newjack scene kids, and indie rap snobs alike. The exciting “new” rapper has emerged as one of the fresh faces of the Los Angeles underground Hip Hop scene. But don’t be fooled if you’re just hearing of him, he’s been cutting his teeth for nearly ten years now.
The L.A. underground has many voices, some covered in grit and dirt, some slapping the halt, some hitting high and brassy — but none ring truer than that of Nocando. A seasoned member of the hip-hop community who isn’t content to count his battle scars by the dozens, Nocando brings fresh rhymes week after week at the world-renowned club night Low End Theory where he is the resident host, as well as to a variety of steazy joints all around the West Coast.

The capital mind of DC’s forward-thinking producer joins with the UK’s Dub MD to deliver intense tracks of indulgence, “The Amber Rose Instrumentals” The no-Hennessy necessary compilation was inspired by the sultry yet fashion-focused Amber Rose, who is known for her relationship with Hip-Hop star KanYe West and a body that has the ability to hypnotize minds like the loop of an 808.
Art has always played a major part in my musical journey. After my father passed away leaving me with his collection. I realized how therapeutic music is and how it helps me deal with the loss. Shortly after his death, I became a producer to reinvent music and use it as an instrument to help others and myself. Keeping listeners turned in with offbeat rhythms and new ways to hear things has opened some doors for me, but I’m not in it to sell my soul, just to deliver something different.

Enjoy.
