Allflaws was spontaneously chosen and impulsively over a good cold English bier. I wanted something that felt slightly brooding and tainted to reflect the nature of the music. The name really represents a kind of rebellious or subversive stand against commercialism and its promotion of human perfection.

Within the past year and change I think she has been the most eclectic artist I’ve encountered. Anita Blay, who goes by the name ‘the CockNBullKid’, is a young, black songwriter, singer from London. I read someone describe her music as being eccentric, delightfully gloomy. I couldn’t have said it better.
